Let the Gaslighting begin

And so it begins…

The President is forced out after he has outlived his usefulness as a puppet. To be replaced by a Vice President whose biggest qualifications for her inclusion on the ticket was checking boxes. It sure wasn’t popularity or her ability to convince Democrat voters she was a viable candidate for President the last time. She dropped out before a single primary vote was cast in 2020. To save her the embarrassment of not get any votes then

Our American Pravda media did their job, preventing the current President from facing any scrutiny in the 2020 election. Stifling any and all scandals with the help of 51 of their closest friends. While amplifying and scrutinizing the former President’s foibles more than any candidate ever. Something they continue to this day.

Now as he removes the knives of Schumer, Pelosi, the Obama’s and the collective American Pravda media from his back, the President has anointed his VP to succeed him.

The VP has amassed enough delegates for the nomination in two days. Something it took the President months and millions of dollars to accomplish. Convention delegates that normally require the vote of the Democrat electorate. She did this without getting a single one of those actual voters to vote for her. What a coup.

And let us not forget, her competitor in the other party and his supporters are the threat to democracy? As the American Pravda media has done such a good job bringing the term ‘gaslighting’ into the vernacular, let us hold up our Mirror.

First, they all have collectively forgotten all their stories praising his mental acuity and damning anyone who dare imply he was anything but all there. Followed by a herd of endorsements for the VP from these same spineless turncoats who decided the President was going to lose.

No matter that he received all the votes and delegates associated with those votes. If the tables were turned, and the Republicans were trying to swap out their candidate and ‘award’ all of his delegates to their preferred replacement, these same folks would be throwing up hurdles and barriers while crying out how undemocratic that process would be. A definition of gaslighting by the way. Do as I say, not as I do.

However, this is but the first of what are sure to be many attempts to ‘memory hole’ past statements, positions, and records of their new candidate. The first fixation is to deny she was ever the ‘border czar’. This is purely semantic.

Maybe she was never called a border czar, but it was clear she was given the task of figuring out what to do about the border. They can twist their past words and delete stories or add explanations trying to unsay what they said at the time, but the reality is, she was in charge and did nothing.

The latest was someone getting on TV trying to say border crossings are now less than they were under the prior President. Anyone who believes this is a) easily manipulated and b) already voting for her regardless of anything she says or does. Oh, and someone who is not curious or willing to admit facts when they exist.

This chart shows any way you slice or dice it, there are more crossings and fewer deportations overall under the current administration than the former. Even the most easy going professor grading on a curve would have to give the VP a failing grade IF her job was to get illegal immigration stopped. But perhaps that was not the goal…

Lest we forget, the first DAY on the job, the President rescinded all the prior President’s border policies that were keeping asylum seekers in Mexico and holding Mexico accountable for taking back any we captured crossing.

Then disingeniously, they claimed there was nothing they could do to stop it when it got out of control. The term again is gaslighting, or if we prefer, lying.

Let us also not forget this total border crossing number does include the anywhere from three to as many as seven million more ‘gotaways’. So somewhere between 9 and 14 million illegal aliens are now here in just that last 3 1/2 years.

And don’t forget the CBP One app. It has had close to 100 MILLION requests by migrants to use it. CBP puts out 1450 acceptances a day since February 2023. About 30% of those go to illegals waiting to cross in Mexico. (see the linked article from CBS news)

The remainder, about 30,000 illegals EVERY month, we fly in directly from their home countries to airports in all 48 states. They don’t even have to make the arduous journey to the border. Many of these are coming from Venezuela, but also Haiti and Russia among others. If they use the app they are also eligible for work permits and get to circumvent the asylum request process.

Oh, by the way, guess who which country won’t take illegals back? Venezuela. A country who just completed one of those super honest and fair elections. After agreeing to have an honest election in return for us lifting some sanctions. If that is the diplomacy of the border czar chief immigration diplomat VP, great job! It didn’t work.

Next, we have the VP’s good buddy Elizabeth Warren getting on cable saying the VP will find a way to grant amnesty to these illegals and give them a pathway to citizenship as quickly as possible. Hmm… Not for nothing, but that sounds like the Great Replacement. Which they still say is not happening…

Before we make them citizens, since they were all let in because they were supposedly seeking asylum, shouldn’t we be letting them get through those hearings first? Most of which are now scheduled for three years from now. I am sure they will all show up for those hearings, right?

Did anyone notice (or care) when the Democrats managed to ensure illegal aliens were counted in the last (and future) census’? Think about all those American citizens migrating from the HOA’s and regulations of California, Illinois and New York to Tennessee, Florida, Idaho and Texas.

Those migrations mean fewer electoral votes for those states losing population. So how do they prevent that? By importing and counting illegals to keep their population count high. It prevented California and New York from losing one more electoral vote to Texas and Florida last census. Very few even complained (or probably knew this).

Now we have the lame duck President trying to ramp up the student loan forgiveness and now pushing through the idea of replacing the Supreme Court justices because they don’t like them doing their job or preventing unconstitutional laws and executive orders. The President gets to continue taking one for the team pushing unpopular and divisive executive actions to keep the VP shielded from these divisive actions.

We just hit $35 trillion in national debt. And we will add another $1.6 Trillion before the President leaves office. Does one want to know why inflation occurs? It is because we print money we don’t collect and diminish the buying power of the dollars you earn working. While making you pay more for your Big Mac’s and Starbucks. And gas, and housing and utilities…

The VP, who has only been on the trail for a week is already promising even more spending on Green Energy, student loan forgiveness, and universal healthcare (sound familiar). It is only a start. Promise free stuff and more government money. The tried and true way to win youth and minority votes. Hopefully people are getting wiser and not falling for these obvious bribes and pandering.

She is against the cops. So defunding will only continue. She is against incarcerating criminals (after once being known for putting away folks for petty crime until it hurt her politically). We already know she has no desire to close the border. Her economic policies will bring inflation back with a vengeance.

I don’t have to make a list. Just listen to what she says (not what American Pravda tries to sanitize to make it seem less radical). We are in for a world of hurt. Possibly literally.

This is just going to continue. Sadly, people are unable to separate policy and outcomes from personality and will vote against their own best interests because they don’t like a person.

Just remember a time when unemployment, inflation and border crossings were low. Foreign wars were not happening. Putin was just talking about doing bad things. China was cooperating and afraid to steal our tech for fear of retaliation. Mexico held asylum seekers until their asylum claim could be verified. Our economy was roaring. All we had to worry about were ‘mean tweets’.

I leave you with one last thought. For all his quirks, thank God Elon Musk bought twitter or all of this ‘truth’ about what the VP said and did or did not do would not be available to be trotted out as facts to counter the gaslighting of the American Pravda media. Who are so desperate to anoint her the savior without a single Democrat voter having any input in the process. Sadly, most of their voters won’t care and won’t think for themselves.
